With a unique batching system ACI Ltd. produces onsite CLC screeds of various densities for floor and roof insulation. Typically, the recommended and ideal density for such thermal insulation is typically 400 kg/m3 with an average thickness of 10 cm.
Since our cellular lightweight concrete screed has a low thermal conductivity coefficient, it is recommended beneath underfloor heating systems, as it will stop the generated heat from seeping downwards. Therefore, all the generated heat by the underfloor heating system is efficiently directed upwards where it is most needed.
Another advantage of ACI screed is in speeding up the tile laying process, as one can directly glue tiles onto the ACI screed without the use of the traditional ‘torba’.

Cellular Lightweight Concrete screed replaces the use of traditional 'torba' under tiles and under the concrete roof screed ('kontra bejt') with added value. The traditional 'torba' is made up crumbled rock and rock dust, which literally it is construction waste. Unlike 'torba' which is heavy and accumulates heat during summer, CLC screed has thermal & sound insulation, fire resistant and does not weight on the building structure due to its low density.
